Keeneland BIAS & POSTS thru 10/13
A day off at Withtheworks is crunch day as we get down to business and go to school to see what we can learn from this past week.
Castellano dominated on the main track winning a whopping 38% of his rides.
Joel Rosario won 1 of 16 on the main but won 3 of 9 on the turf for 33%.
Tyler Gaffalione underachieving on turf and dirt, 2 for 23, 9% on main track, and 1 for 16 on turf, 6%.
Julien Leparoux riding the main well and winning at a 23% clip winning 30% around one turn. Jose Ortiz at 15% on the main track but was far more prolific around 2 turns at 23% than sprinting, 11%. He is, however, 21% on the turf. Ricardo Santana is interestingly 0 for 9 on turf and 0 for 4 with favorite.
Chad Brown leads all trainers and has won at 30% both on main and turf. He is also 56% with favorites, but 0 for 4 with 2yos.
Brad Cox is second but his winning % with favorites is only at 25%. He is 0 for 8 in allowance company and found this category shocking he is only 1 for 13 sprinting for 8%. The Average win Payoff for Brad is $7.10.
On the Turf ~ Post Positions can be misleading.
Main Track Post Positions:
Boy, they can be really confusing as the man track has been very inconsistent, charging from outside to inside in first 8 days.
As of Sunday, inside speed did well and the big move 3-4-5 wide was non existent.
